Paradise Point

Roof and exterior cleaning in Paradise Point.

Right on the Broadwater, which means some of the heaviest salt exposure anywhere we work.

Paradise Point sits out on the Broadwater with water on three sides, and that exposure is the defining factor for anything we clean there. It's a mix of older waterfront homes and substantial newer builds, and both deal with the same constant salt load on glass, render and roofing.

What makes Paradise Point properties different

Heavy, constant salt exposure

With the Broadwater wrapping around the suburb, there's very little shelter from salt-laden air. It settles on every surface and holds moisture, which is what gets mould and algae established. This is one of the fastest-fouling areas we work in.

Waterfront glass takes the worst of it

Windows facing the water spot faster than almost anywhere else on the coast, and left long enough the mineral deposits etch into the glass permanently. Regular cleaning here is genuinely preventative rather than cosmetic.

Mixed older and newer housing

Older waterfront homes often have tile roofs that have taken decades of salt exposure and respond dramatically to a soft wash. Newer builds tend to be Colorbond, which stays in better shape but still needs the salt film taken off.

What we'd recommend for a typical Paradise Point property

Service How often Why here
Roof washing Every 2 years Among the heaviest salt exposure on the coast — growth establishes fast.
House washing Every 12 months Constant salt film on render and paintwork keeps surfaces damp.
Window cleaning Every 3 months Waterfront glass spots faster here than almost anywhere we work.
Pressure cleaning Every 12 months Salt and damp keep paths and driveways greening up.

Paradise Point questions we get asked

My windows spot again within weeks — am I doing something wrong?

No, that's just Paradise Point. Waterfront glass here picks up salt faster than almost anywhere else on the coast, which is exactly why a recurring window schedule makes more sense here than a one-off clean.

Can hard water and salt etching be removed?

Light mineral spotting comes off with a proper hard water treatment. If it's been left for years and has etched into the glass it may only partially improve — we'll give you an honest assessment before starting.
